Press | Studio Holdings Hires New Senior VP of Distribution, Sales, and Marketing March 1, 2001 New York, NY - Studio Holdings announced today the hiring of Laurie Windrow as Senior VP of Distribution, Sales and Marketing for all Studio Holdings' brands. She is charged with exploiting all assets in all channels and developing relationships for future products. Laurie Windrow will deliver Studio Holdings' content to mainstream media through deals in property licensing, product distribution, and television/digital syndication. Ms. Windrow's key responsibilities will be to expand BUST magazine (http://www.bust.com) through product licensing as well as television and digital programming opportunities. She will also extend The Disinformation Company's current UK-based Disinfo Nation Television series throughout the international marketplace (http://www.disinfo.com). Ms. Windrow will focus on digital programming opportunities that can be distributed through across various platforms. Already in her first month, Ms. Windrow signed a television rights option deal for one of the broadband entertainment properties on RSUB (http://www.rsub.com) with a respected Hollywood production company. More deals are already in the works. Prior to joining Studio Holdings, Ms. Windrow was VP, International Sales & Business Development for The Discovery Channel, where she created an international $60M consumer products business in 52 countries and 18 languages. Before joining The Discovery Channel, Ms. Windrow worked more than seven years in theatrical distribution for MGM/UA. Ms. Windrow holds an MBA from Pepperdine University and a B.A. Radio, TV, Film degree from CSUN.
