(NEW YORK CITY) February 25, 1999 - Studio Holdings announced today the expansion of its operations with the acquisition of Simon Ventures, Ltd. Started and previously led by Michael Simon, currently President of Studio Holdings, Simon Ventures was a New York based artist management firm. Studio Holdings has acquired 100% of Simon Ventures to help increase its stable of artists, as well as concentrate its efforts on continuing to produce cross-content media and develop talent.

Founded in 1996, Simon Ventures managed the careers of several recording artists including: Mercury Record's The Honeydogs, The Gigolo Aunts, who record for Counting Crows' Adam Duritz's E. Pluribus Unum, and Kristin Mooney, affiliated with ADA-distributed EGG records. The entireroster remains unchanged and will be absorbed by Studio Holdings.
